In 2003 Nigel developed his original turn-of-the century thriller Sleight of Hand, with Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet attached as screenwriter. He continues to work with the best talent to produce commercial independent drama, including those based on his original documentaries.
His drama-documentaries continue to break new ground. He has been asked by Bedlam Productions, producers of The King's Speech, to produce and direct their most recent production, combining drama, documentary and CGI to tell an astonishing new story which redefines the fate of RMS Titanic. His series Fatal Attractions for Animal Planet has been praised for bringing cinematic storytelling and the genre of psychological thrillers to natural history film making. As well as producing and directing for TV, Leviathan has a slate of feature films in development.
